Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zylox website, platform, and related services (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by ZYLOX AI L.L.C-FZ, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates (Free Zone) with its registered office at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E (“Zylox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Overview of the Service
Zylox provides a privacy-focused AI workspace that enables users to upload documents, query information, and generate insights using artificial intelligence.
The Service is designed around:
- workspace isolation
- client-side encryption for certain stored data
- ephemeral compute environments
- minimization of plaintext data storage
2. Early Access
Zylox may be provided as an early access or beta service.
During this stage:
- features may change without notice
- access may be revoked at any time
- the Service may contain errors or incomplete functionality
3. Eligibility
You must:
- be at least 16 years old
- have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- comply with applicable laws
4. Accounts
You agree to:
- provide accurate information
- maintain confidentiality of credentials
- notify us of unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Workspaces
The Service organizes content into isolated workspaces.
Each workspace may include:
- uploaded documents
- AI query history
- configuration settings
- processing metadata
Workspaces are designed to operate independently and prevent cross-user access.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of your content.
You grant Zylox a limited, non-exclusive license to:
- process content
- generate embeddings
- retrieve context
- generate AI outputs
This license exists solely to operate the Service.
7. AI Processing and Outputs
AI outputs:
- may be inaccurate or incomplete
- are generated automatically
- should not be relied upon as professional advice
You are responsible for evaluating outputs before use.
8. No Training on User Data
Zylox does not use user content to train public AI models.
User data is processed only to provide responses within your workspace.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate laws or regulations
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
- attempt unauthorized access or security breaches
- reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
- misuse AI outputs for harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, and analytics, including providers such as AWS, Firebase, Stripe, and Google Analytics.
These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Intellectual Property
Zylox retains all rights in the Service, including software, systems, and underlying technology.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated.
12. AI Output Ownership
You retain rights to outputs generated from your inputs.
Similar outputs may be generated for other users.
13. Feedback
You grant Zylox the right to use feedback without restriction or compensation.
14. Fees, Billing, and Subscriptions
Zylox offers paid subscription plans.
Current pricing includes:
- Starter Plan: £99 per seat per month
- Professional Plan: £249 per seat per month
Billing terms:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis
- Both plans include a 7-day free trial (where applicable)
- After the trial period, billing begins automatically unless cancelled
Refunds:
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law
Zylox reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
15. Data Retention and Account Data
Zylox retains user data to provide the Service.
Due to the system’s architecture:
- user content may be stored in encrypted form
- Zylox does not have access to readable versions of user data
- encrypted data may remain stored until deleted by the user or account termination
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access:
- for violation of these Terms
- for security or legal reasons
- to protect the Service
Upon termination:
- your right to use the Service ends immediately
- access to your account may be disabled
- encrypted data associated with your account may be deleted or become inaccessible
17. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Zylox makes no warranties regarding:
- accuracy or reliability of AI outputs
- availability or uptime of the Service
- fitness for a particular purpose
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Zylox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Zylox’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zylox from claims arising from:
- your use of the Service
- your content
- your violation of these Terms
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
