Does using Zylox breach our ICAEW or ACCA confidentiality obligations?

No. Zylox was built for environments where confidentiality is non-negotiable. Client files are encrypted before they reach us, never retained after processing, and never used to train any model. Your clients' financial information is not disclosed to any third party in a way that would breach the fundamental principle of confidentiality.

Is Zylox suitable for tax return data and HMRC correspondence?

Yes. Tax returns, HMRC notices, enquiry correspondence, and working papers can all be uploaded and queried within a private engagement workspace. Zero data retention means the files exist briefly during processing and are then permanently discarded — they are never stored in readable form on our infrastructure.

How is this different from our existing accounts or practice management software?

Practice management platforms store and organise your data. Zylox is an AI reasoning layer — you upload documents to a private engagement workspace and ask questions across them in plain English, getting cited answers in seconds. It works alongside your existing software, not instead of it.

Can we create a separate workspace for each client?

Yes — that is precisely how Zylox is designed to be used. Each client engagement gets its own fully isolated workspace. You invite the team members who need access, set their permissions, and nothing from that engagement is visible outside it. There is no cross-contamination between clients.

Do we need IT involvement to get started?
